Wyoming Harriet Hageman representatives on the grill in the City Council on Doge: “Where is this fraud?”

The republican representative of Wyoming, Harriet Hageman, became entangled with a burning audience in the City Council in her native state on Thursday night while going and came with voters about the Duxt of Elon Musk and cuts the federal expenditure.

At one point, Hageman faced a woman who said she was a retired and republican military officer, who interrogated the congresswoman about the evidence of alleged fraud that musk and Republicans argue that they have discovered.

“Just to give him a small reference, I am a retired military officer,” said an unidentified woman at a time of the City Council. “At 18, I got up hand in hand to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreigners and domestic …” And my question, after looking at the Dux de Musk, you are a lawyer. Where is this fraud? WHO? What company? What organization? What staff are looking for right now? “

Doge’s actions have been criticized, not only for recommending that thousands of federal workers say goodbye, including many veterans, but accusations, backed by President Donald Trump and the White House about what they say is a massive fraud in government spending. The fraud statements, which Trump described in his recent speech against Congress, are not yet verifiable.

Hageman, shot the Constituent, saying: “Oh, my God, I will start reading something. I will start reading it right now, if you like it. I will focus on the USAID spending here.”

“I didn’t say expenses, I said real fraud,” the woman shouted to Hageman.

“This is what it is,” Hageman replied. “This is the expense associated with fraud. This is fraud. Expenditure is fraud.”

“No, no, no,” the woman shouted. “Go after specific or personal companies that commit fraud.”

“This is fraud. This is a fraudulent expense,” said Hageman.

“No, it can be an abusive expense, but it is not fraud,” replied the woman.

“What I said was waste, fraud and abuse. Waste, fraud and abuse,” Hageman said, before trying to give figures on the spending of Usaid.

The same constituent pressed Hageman about the shots and if they were really doing the most efficient government: “The fact that it is shooting someone does not mean that it is efficient because the work is still there. It must still be done,” he said.

“We will also eliminate some of those works,” said Hageman. “Those works will be eliminated. They don’t need to be done.”

At another time during the City Council, another woman pressed Hageman so he qualifies Musk to make cuts for federal expenditure.

“You just described the cuts to the government at this time as a kind of careful audit, but the cuts that Dege has been making has been the owner of someone who has never served in the government, has never directed a non -profit organization, who is 19 years of infiltrating computers and agencies and making decisions.

Dege claims to have saved $ 115 billion, but that total amount is not verifiable because there are only receipts for a part of the savings claimed.

“As I said a moment ago, this is, it is an audit. It is the closest that we are going to reach the zero budgets in the federal government,” Hageman said.

“What I cannot understand, be it a billionaire, a millionaire or someone whoever, as he says, technical support, all he is doing is entering and looking at each agency and how money is spent. Do you think you have the right to know how your money is spent?” She added.
