Pope not completely recovered, non -potentially deadly condition, doctors say

Pope Francis has not yet recovered completely from the disease, but is not in danger of losing his life, the doctors of the Gemelli hospital said during a press conference on Friday.
Pope Francis was hospitalized with a respiratory tract infection and now has pneumonia in both lungs. He has been hospitalized since last week.

“The Pope is fine, but the reason we are here is that it has been a week in the hospital,” said one of his doctors in English, saying that Francis is 88 years old and mortal, but added that he has retained his humor in The situation.
His doctors said he was recovering well, but added that he is a fragile patient.
Pope Francis is not prostrated in bed, and is not linked to any machine, doctors said. You only need additional oxygen at the time when you have asthmatic moments, according to doctors. They said he is eating regularly and has a good appetite, and although he does not walk well, he has had problems with his knees for a while.
He has been sitting in an armchair and has been going to the chapel during the day, doctors said.

The Pope entered a hospital last week for “necessary tests” and to continue his continuous treatment of bronchitis, said the Vatican.
The doctors also disagree with the journalists who asked why photos of the Pope have not been published, saying that privacy should be respected by all and that they did not need photos of the Pope in his pajamas on the cover of each newspaper.
