Elon Musk and the Government’s efficiency department have published their second batch of data listed by federal contracts that have terminated as part of their vertiginous cost reduction measures, claiming that it has saved a total of $ 65 billion in federal funds.
But the contracts, and $ 144 million in lease terminations, are the only elements for which it provides the numbers, which makes it impossible to verify exactly what and how much, Dege has reduced by total.
Doge, on the website, points out that they are working to provide real -time data, but that there is currently a data delay due to the federal acquisition data system.

The recently published data from Doge also withdrew some of the other main contracts that claimed to have ended in their last week, including three cuts of $ 655 million in the United States Agency for International Development, which CBS News reported They were mistakenly counted three times.
Similar to the data last week, Dege now lists almost 800 contracts in which the contract obligations have already been completely delivered, which means that 34% of the contracts that claimed to have ended will not give rise to save money.
A White House official told ABC News that Dege works with the agencies to calculate the savings and has been directly with specific units within the agencies and with contracting officials responsible for individual contracts.
The official also said they are using a conservative methodology to calculate savings because they are subtracting the obligated dollars from the contracts of the ceiling amounts. However, for many contracts, the dollars of the ceiling are much higher than it is really expected to spend.

One of them is a contract of the Personnel Management Office that Dege claims to have saved $ 318 million at the end, but it is difficult to track what the contract was because Dege did not include a receipt for the contract as it has done with most of the other contracts that claims to have ended.
Based on the Dege description, the contract seems to have been at a stage of application for a proposal for “prior prize”, to provide “products and services related to human resources to its current and future clients of recruitment and brand”.
Another termination is a contract of the National Health Institute for the Advanced Automation Technologies software company, which claims to have saved $ 149 million, but the Doge website linked to a different NIH contract to lease and maintain refrigerated gas tanks, which was limited to only $ 118,832.
The NIH contract with Automation Technologies, with the same contract ID, is limited to only $ 1.4 million, which is not close to the $ 149 million figure that Doge has promoted on its website, according to Federal Procurement Data.
He is also questioned by a termination of the contract involving financial management and the company of Ti Centennial Technologies, who He told New York Times Last week, the contract was canceled last fall, under the Biden administration, and Doge did not cancel.
The Cennnial CEO, Manu Allu told the New York Times that the government’s slow movement contracts had not been updated to show the cancellation until this month, making the change seem new.
Centennial representatives did not respond to a request for comments from ABC News.
Federal Contract data shows that money has not been forced since last summer, when signed.
Musk, who has said that Dege will be “maximum transparent,” promised during Wednesday’s cabinet meeting to correct any error.
“We will make mistakes. We will not be perfect. But when we make mistakes, we will fix it very quickly,” said Musk, citing an example of how Dege restored an Ebola prevention program within USAID.
Musk also praised Trump’s cabinet members, calling them the “best cabinet in history.”
Trump at the meeting also praised Musk and Doge’s work, echoing that they are cutting “robbery and fraud” and saying that there is “much fraud and probably some fraud that we will not be able to prove is fraud.”
“But when you hear the names and places where this money is going, it is a misfortune,” Trump said.
